Spring holidays in Eye

Come to Eye Filmmuseum during the spring holidays for a cinematic day out. Follow a workshop and make your own kaleidoscope, come watch and play during Cineminimaxi, discover the power of your eyes with Mission Super Eyes, or visit the free walk-in-activity and make a stop-motion film.

Free activity on 17 and 20 February

Let your paper flowers blossom and grow together with professional animators in your own animated stop-motion film. Come visit us on 17 and 21 February between 13:30 and 16:00. Ages 6 and up.

Make your own kaleidoscope (6+)

Discover shapes and colours and make a cool light show with your own kaleidoscope.

Workshop Stereoscope (6+)

In this workshop we will dive into old film techniques together. After a short visit to the exhibition 'What is film?', you will build your own stereoscope.

Cineminimaxi (2+)

For all Cinemini lovers, there is Cineminimaxi on 22 and 23 February. Watch cheerful, moving and artistic short films together and then play with installations in the cinema.

Discovery route for families

Children aged 4 through 12 and their parents or guardians can take on Eye's Mission Supereyes discovery route, which criss-crosses through the museum building. Pick up the booklet when you visit the What is Film exhibition and discover the superpowers in your eyes!

Discover the magic of film with short films from Eye's collection. At this special edition of Filmmagie you don't have to sit still while watching the film, but you can move along!

You can see the best children's films on Eye's four screens: every Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday and daily during the school holidays.

Make a flipbook

Play the leading role in your own mini film: make a flip book in the Flipbook Machine in Eye. Part of the exhibition What is Film.

Audio benches

Take a seat on the audio benches in Eye Filmmuseum and listen to Hiba's cheerful story about voice acting in the film Knor. To be found at the top of the stairs.

Create your own animation

You can make your own stop-motion video with your phone for free on the animation tables. The tables can be found on the stairs in front of Cinema 1, next to the restaurant.
